Chris Evans launches RunFestRun – ‘Britain’s biggest running party’

RunFestRun-Chris-Evans-Running-Party-FestivalChris Evans set to launch first RunFestRun running festival

What is RunFestRun?

The brain child of Chris Evans (radio host – not the Avenger), RunFestRun hopes to break onto the scene with style. It’s a festival-come-run based at Bowood House, a private estate owned by the Lansdowne family, promising access to the normally private gardens of the estate.

When is RunFestRun being held?

‘Britain’s biggest running party’ is going to take place between 31st May and 2nd June 2019.

What’s taking place at RunFestRun?

Set to host live DJ’s and bands, Chris Evans will be presenting and participating himself. The set list is due to be released in March and promises ‘incredible’ acts.

But there’s rumoured to be a lot going on…

Feel Good Friday

Starting off with a sunset shuffle (no expectations to race this time), followed by talks, live music and a grand opening ceremony, all in preparation for Serious Saturday.

Serious Saturday

Get your shoes on, we’re going running. Taking groups through the gardens, there’ll be a 2.5K, 5K, 10K and half marathon. If you’ve got the beans for it, you can do all of them – which may prove to be a claim to fame come the next year’s festival.

So, you’ve finished your run? Good job. Time to treat yourself with wellness and fitness classes, with an evening of live music and partying ready for you post-chill.

Sunday Funday

Costumes out – it’s time for a fun run.  Don’t sweat it, you’re expected to be a little achy, so this will be a relaxed and reflective one for the weekend’s itinerary.

To mark your success, there will be a celebration at the main stage, followed by an evening of music and entertainment to cap the festival off.

What big names are confirmed so far for RunFestRun?

Just to tease you a little more, they will be appearance and talks with Paula Radcliffe, Steve Cram, Vassos Alexander. That’s a group you don’t want to miss.

How can I stay up to date with RunFestRun?

Plenty of new information will be coming out in the next few weeks – so keep an eye out!
