London to Cardiff 24 hour challenge is an intense challenge, competing in a team of up to 12 runners you will all have to run together or take it in turns to run different ‘legs’ of this mega 160 mile relay! There are 24 individual stages and 3 team stages varying from 2.5 miles to 13 miles in length. All 12 runners don’t have to run, you are allowed up to 4 non-running members.

The first part of the challenge is making it to the start, 30% of registering teams don’t manage to make it!

Covering a huge range of terrains this challenge is for everyone! You will need to navigate yourself and your team along the route whilst trying not to get lost… the majority do find themselves a little bit disorientated at some point!  When you’re not running you will be located with your teammates on your minibus, resting, eating, sleeping, talking and driving between checkpoints waiting for your runner(s) to arrive.

The ultimate goal of the challenge is to get to Cardiff from Twickenham in under 24 hours. This has to be done by foot and you must follow the given checkpoints. You will need to carry with you everything you need for your stage. We provide stage maps and a GPS tracker. You’ve got 33 hours but can you go sub 24?

The route is split into 24 stages each beginning and ending with a Checkpoint where a changeover happens between runners.
