Who are Sculptmode?
Sculptmode launched into the market last year with an athleisurewear brand perfect for high-intensity workouts, a relaxing yoga or pilates class or even your day to day life. The founder wanted to create a range of clothing that’s high quality without the high price tag.
They also have a great ethos.
They donate 10% of their profits to the WWF Snow Leopard programme and they’ve teamed up with the European Recycling Centre allowing shoppers to receive 10% off their next order after sending in their old workout gear for recycling.
Why choose Sculptmode leggings over other brands?
Firstly, they have pockets. Three to be exact. One tucked away at the top of the waistband for your keys and then two larger pockets, one on the outside of each leg, perfect for keeping your phone or spare hair ties
A word of caution. If you’re like me and have a huge bunch of keys, I wouldn’t advise using the back pocket for keys. You don’t want the back bulge or the pain!
It’s like finding a dress with pockets. It’s rare and we love it!
Secondly, the material is second to none. It’s soft to touch, uses ultra-flex performance fabric that both flexes and keeps you together where it’s needed and it isn’t performance restricting in anyway. The Sculptmode Infinity Leggings are also high waisted which, for someone who’s conscious of her stomach and love handles, is great at keeping me covered, protected and a little sucked in.
Does Sculptmode have a wide range to choose from?
They don’t have the largest range, but they’ve perfected every product that’s available. The male range does have more items than the female range, but the leggings are a must-buy.
The Infinity Sculpt Leggings come in two flattering colours, black and blue.
The leggings come in four sizes: XS, S, M and L.
In the female range, there is also another pair of leggings, a sports bra in two colours and a cap with two different designs on. I’m seeing more and more women in my gym wearing baseball caps whilst they’re working out – I’m not sure if it’s to keep their fringe out of their faces or to generally keep their hair back – but whatever the reason, I want one!
How is Sculptmode’s sizing in real life?
I’m a size 10 and I tend to find that most products fit better in a medium than in a small, but I’ve tried both sizes of these leggings and actually found that small fits me better. They’re a little snugger, hold me in and stay in place a little better – which is pretty imperative when you’re bouncing all over the shop in a HIIT session.
If you know your body measurements, I’d always recommend checking out a brand’s size guide just to be on the safe side.
How do Sculptmode leggings fit during a workout?
The leggings act like a second skin – they don’t restrict movement in any way and they stay put, so you’re not constantly having to stop what you’re doing to pull them up or reposition them in anyway.
The final verdict
The black Sculptmode Infinity Leggings are my number one leggings to reach for when I’m heading to the gym. They’re incredibly flattering, they have pockets deep enough for my phone and they don’t show off any unwanted cellulite or awkwardly positioned sweat patches (ladies, you know what I’m talking about).
