General fitness announcements
An infographic created by Shake That Weight has found how many calories you can burn doing various tasks, such as housework, cutting the grass and more. This is all based on someone weighing 155lbs (11 stone). They’ve also pulled out key exercising stats – in one hour you can burn:

Most fitness shakers come with one or two compartments for you to store your protein powder and supplements. There’s a Kickstarter underway currently for the launch of IsoShaker – a fitness shaker with four compartments. Perfect for storing protein powders and supplements, as well as healthy snacks, the compartments are great for portion control and an active lifestyle.
Save space. Save time. Save the Earth.
The Kickstarter aims to raise £11,447 and has already smashed that target. Want one? Donate towards the campaign to ensure you get one before anyone else. Yes, they’ve hit their target, but it doesn’t stop there. The more money they raise, the more they can do.
Decathlon has just launched a new range of Kalenji trail running clothing and equipment. The new range is perfect for those who want to make the most of the summer and get outdoors, exploring new trails. Items include t-shirts, shorts and skorts, trainers, running glasses, water bottles and more.
Sponsorships within the fitness world
In 2014, Olympic gold medalist team GB hockey player, Shona McCallin MBE, was advised by her nutritionist to give up all cow’s milk products as they caused her discomfort and disrupted her training. She has since been sponsored by St Helen’s Farm on her journey to Tokyo 2020. St Helen’s Farm produces fresh and nutritious goat’s milk products, perfect for Shona’s needs and training.
