Universal Performance sets the benchmark with its new range

Universal Performance

In an era where fast fashion reigns supreme, one brand is going against the grain. Universal Performance (UP), the ethical and sustainable activewear brand, has bolstered its 2023 collection with a lineup of new products – and we are here for them all.

Universal Performance is changing the activewear game!

We have been fortunate enough to test some of Universal Performance new range (more on that in another article) and our team have not stopped raving about it. From the tests that we carried out, it is clear that they really are game-changing activewear and they are going to storm the market.

Taking advantage of natural fabrics, such as organic cotton and bamboo, UP’s latest additions aim to satisfy our desire for comfort, performance, and eco-consciousness. As we all know, it’s not just about looking good and performing well, but doing so while contributing positively to the environment.

Unique to UP’s clothing is an eco-friendly, advanced odour and bacteria-crunching technology. This innovative feature allows us to wear sport attire more frequently and reduce the frequency of washing, saving water and lowering their environmental impact. In essence, it’s a win-win for the everyone, the planet, and our wash-basket

Among the exciting new releases is the seamless Universal active leggings and matching bra top, the perfect blend of comfort, performance, and style. Now available in an invigorating shade of coral, these items are made from sturdy, durable fabric that offers both support and body contouring. The seamless design, achieved through a single and continuous knitting process, promises a chafe-free experience and a superior aesthetic. The leggings are priced at £40, while the bra top is £42.

The Go the Distance range, UP’s first-ever women’s athletic collection, was launched this April and is already proving a massive hit. This range consists of athletic vests and t-shirts, available in a trio of vibrant colours: daffodil yellow, fruit dove pink, and tranquil blue. Designed to last, these pieces are super soft and vibrant, perfect for those who want to make a statement while staying active. The vest is priced at £25, while the t-shirt is £28.

The brand’s commitment to sustainability extends to its production process, where UP limits overproduction by using recycled polyamide to create a limited number of garments at a time. Although the fabric may only run for a few metres, UP’s clothing allows you to run for miles!

Rounding up the collection is the seamless Bamboo Thong, a set of super-soft, high-waisted thongs made from breathable, odour and moisture-wicking bamboo fabric. Priced at £24, this pack of three comes in black, white, and nude. The manufacture of this fabric does not involve pesticides or fertilisers and uses a third less water than cotton, emphasising UP’s relentless commitment to environmental sustainability.

The latest additions to Universal Performance’s 2023 collection emphasise the brand’s commitment to creating a positive impact through sustainable fashion. The brand successfully intertwines style, performance, and ethical production practices, making it an ultimate choice for eco-conscious customers worldwide.

With Universal Performance, you are not just purchasing activewear; you are supporting a movement towards a more sustainable fashion industry. This game changing sports wear brand is very much one to watch!
