About the Bacchus Marathon and half marathon:
This running event is set in the beautiful countryside of Surrey. Whether you are completing the Bacchus marathon or the Bacchus half marathon you will be able to do some wine tasting along the way – sounds great doesn’t it?!
This race always sells out with only 2,700 places available. Fancy dress is heavily encouraged to make the most of your running and drinking experience. There will also be bands playing along the way with lots of food and drink during and after the race.
There is a strict 2 hours and 20 minutes cut off for anyone running the marathon, if you do not complete it in this time you will be asked to finish and will be awarded with a half marathon medal. The entry fee covers a free t-shirt, a medal, all drink and food and any digital photographs taken on the day.
