Gymshark Sleek Sculpture Leggings 2.0 review, Dark Ruby

We’ve previously reviewed the Gymshark Seamless Energy High Waisted Cropped Leggings and we found them to be an absolute dream pair of leggings. The Gymshark brand is constantly evolving though and they’re regularly bringing out new products, so I thought I’d try out some of the latest. With that in mind, here’s my review of the Gymshark Sleek Sculpture Leggings 2.0.

Why should I choose Gymshark over other brands?

First things first – the quality. The products are really well made and the materials are always nice to touch and don’t cause any itching or friction. They fit your body well, obviously depending on the style of the garment you get, they keep their shape and they’re designed to assist you when working out, not restrict you.

As I’ve already mentioned, the brand is constantly evolving, updating and releasing new products. If the current colours aren’t to your taste, it’s only a matter of months until a new line comes out that’s going to be more up your street.

How much do Gymshark leggings cost?

The Gymshark Sleep Sculpture Leggings 2.0 will set you back £38, which I used to think was on the higher side – not that I minded as I love the quality, look and feel of the products. But actually, I’ve recently come to realise that this is a really good price. I’m currently trying a whole new range of leggings from other brands that have an average price tag of around £45 – £50.

Mesh pannelling is just one fab feature of the  Gymshark Sleek Sculpture Leggings 2.0

Ultimately it comes down to what you’re comfortable paying. H&M do some perfectly fine leggings if your budget is around the £10 – £15 mark, but if you can afford Gymshark I’d highly recommend it!

What’s so special about Gymshark’s Sleep Sculpture Leggings 2.0?
  1. They’re an incredibly flattering (especially on the bum) medium rise fit
  2. They have mesh panelling (who doesn’t love a little mesh on their leggings?!)
  3. THEY HAVE POCKETS!!!

I could go on, but I imagine you’re all as excited as I was when I noticed these leggings had pockets. You’d never think to put pockets on workout leggings, but actually it’s the best invention ever! Even better, dare I say it, than having pockets in your dress!

Oh, and the leggings come in EIGHT colours; Black, Indigo, Intense Coral, Steel Blue Marl, Chalk Taupe, Dark Ruby, Dusky Pink Marl and Khaki Wash. Sizes range from XS to XL.

How do Gymshark leggings feel whilst working out?

I didn’t think any leggings were going to be able to beat the Gymshark Seamless Energy High Waisted Cropped Leggings in my eyes, but these have certainly done it.

I’m 5’4″ and purchased a Medium pair of leggings but I think I could also just as easily fit into a Small. The material is stretchy but stays put – handy when you’re doing an intense HIIT or circuits session – and they don’t slip even when you’ve got your phone in your pocket.

I’m always conscious of sweat patches when I’m working out, especially when my leggings aren’t black, but these saved my dignity and didn’t show me up at all. And the material is just dreamy.

Would I recommend the Gymshark Sleek Sculpture Leggings 2.0?

100,000,000% yes.

Every woman needs a pair of these in her life, whether she’s doing a nice and calm yoga session, running a marathon or just doing a session in the gym. They look fantastic, feel amazing and HAVE POCKETS! Need I say any more?!

We’ve reviewed a few other women’s products from Gymshark – well worth a read if you want an honest opinion on the products before buying:
